Heating pads are an essential comfort object for anyone with chronic pain, but this Battle Creek flannel one- big enough to spread across belly and chest, or to arrange under your spine- is the GOAT. It’s soft like a baby blanket and produces moist heat by drawing humidity from the air. The moisture, coupled with the enveloping size, makes me feel like I’m back the “spa” my friend Gen and I would make believe we ran in second grade (I remember it involved placing a lot of wet washcloths on her babysitter’s face and filling the bathtub with every product available in the house including dish soap. Our reviews weren’t great.)
